Portugal “Lisbon and Porto” 🇵🇹
During my recent visit to Portugal, I visited Porto and Lisbon. I highly recommend visiting both cities if you have the chance. There's so much to see and do in each place, and the people are incredibly welcoming and friendly. If you have more time, I'm sure you won't regret staying longer. The weather is great, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is so relaxed. I hope you have a wonderful time exploring everything Portugal offers!
Portugal is an ideal destination for spending a relaxing weekend with loved ones, friends, or family. During my visit, I found the people of Portugal to be among the most caring, open, and charismatic. What's more, everyone speaks English - from the Uber driver to the receptionist, bartenders, and waiters. The weather is warm, but the sea breeze makes it perfect. While most people recommend Portugal for its artistic tiles, I personally found beauty in its narrow streets, friendly locals, delicious food, and splendid weather, which make it ideal for spending time in parks and walking around while enjoying the slow pace of life.
Some tips to keep in mind: public transportation is great, but Uber and Bolt are cheap and convenient. It's also worth walking around to fully enjoy the city. When it comes to food, be sure to try some of the local specialties, such as Francesinha, Pastel de Nata, and Pastéis de Bacalhau (croquettes made with potatoes, codfish, and parsley, fried to perfection). Porto is also famous for its seafood and meat dishes, including Rissois de Carne (similar to empanadas, stuffed with shrimp or meat). For a great view and fantastic seafood, I highly recommend Semea restaurant.
